Educational Qualification:
- Engineer Mate: 10th Pass and must be a holder of engine driver of Fishing Vessel certificate issued by MMD with 5 years sea experience
- Artisan: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering (OR) National Certificate of vocational training / Apprenticeship in reputed craft building yard in hull construction in fibre class re-inforce Plastic with 4 years experience
- Engine Driver: 8th Std pass with 10 years service on sea going vessel with 5 years independent auxiliary machinery
- Launch Mechanic: 8th Pass with 5 years service on sea going vessel with one year independent charge of Engine and auxiliary machinery
- Tindel: 8th std pass with 10 years service on sea going vessel with 5 years experience in independent handling of Mechanised craft fitted with auxiliary sails
- Sukhani: 8th pass 7years service on sea going vessel with 2 years experience in independent handling of Mechanised craft fitted with auxiliary sails
- Senior Deck Hand: 8th pass with 5 years experience in sea going vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work
- Greaser: 10th pass with 3 years experience in sea going mechanised vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance
