There are 8 Central Police Forces, They are: Assam Rifles (AR), Border Security Force(BSF), Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), National Security Guard (NSG), Railway Protection force (RPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
